Release context

This page summarizes the official TypeSafe JavaScript SDK 0.7.0 release record. It documents a version boundary for evaluation and migration, not a live API integration or a permanent contract for experimental capabilities.

What changed

  • Experimental image requests require the TypeSafe-Danger-Zone-Images: true header.
  • Box answers are available with jev-preview and remain part of the experimental image workflow.
  • Fixes cover null token counts, additional request validation, invalid requests returning a rejected promise, runtime score criteria, and unhandled rejection on timed-out or aborted requests.

Installation

npm install @typesafe-ai/sdk@0.7.0
pnpm add @typesafe-ai/sdk@0.7.0

Compatibility checks

  • This breaking release requires Node.js 22+ and stops exporting request payload types; update runtime and type imports before upgrading.
  • On Node.js 22.15+, requests of 1 KiB or more use zstd compression; set compression: false when the target service does not support it.
  • Images and Box remain experimental, Box uses jev-preview, and version 0.7.0 should be pinned only when reproducing this release.

Scope and limitations

This page does not promise a performance improvement from zstd. Results depend on payload size, runtime, and server support, while experimental image and Box request formats may change.
