Editorial Policy | Type Safe
How Type Safe sources, verifies, labels, updates, and corrects directory content.

Source standard
We prioritize official product pages, documentation, repositories, model cards, release notes, and peer-reviewed papers. A provider statement can support what the provider publishes, but it is not treated as an independent result.
Third-party sources may add context when first-party material is unavailable. They are identified as third-party and do not silently replace a primary source.
Status labels
- Official identifies a resource maintained or published by its provider.
- Community identifies an independent implementation, workflow, or editorial template.
- Experimental identifies research-stage work with material limitations.
- Verified means the listed claims were checked against the cited sources on the displayed date.
- Needs review means a record is useful but has not completed the same verification threshold.
Verified does not mean independently benchmarked, secure for every use, or suitable for a high-impact decision.
Unknown and changing information
Pricing, versions, limits, licenses, and availability can change. If a reviewed source does not support a field, the page says unknown or not independently verified. Editors do not infer missing facts from a product name, another provider, or marketing language.
Workflows and examples
Directory-created workflows are editorial starting points. They must show inputs, outputs, failure modes, privacy considerations, confidence handling, and a human-review path. A blank tested-version field means Type Safe has not run the workflow against a pinned model release.
Comparisons and benchmarks
Comparisons preserve differences in task, hardware, data, and measurement. Provider-reported results are labeled and separated from independent results. Type Safe publishes no overall leaderboard until eligible reproducible evidence exists.
Corrections and conflicts
Readers and providers may use the submission form to request a correction. Include the affected URL, the requested change, and a reliable supporting source. Editors record material changes through the update process.
Sponsored placement and payment do not change rankings or verification labels. Any future commercial relationship will be disclosed on the affected page and in the disclosure. Questions can be sent through a support ticket.
